Until I watched the Season 7 finale - with the cast giving us the great news after the end of the episode, I did not know that SWAT had been saved for an eighth season. I had just kept watching and waiting to see the cast being written out of the show, one by one - until that process seemed to stop and then reverse with Deacon (Jay Harrington) deciding to come out of retirement. What did that mean? And then I knew. Did they not air what would have been the series finale episode and instead film a season finale episode instead? I enjoy SWAT. There is still more life left in it, as long as they keep the good stories coming! I wonder if they will have a panel at San Diego Comic-Con, and hand out SWAT swag? AutoMatters & More
